A New Take On Links Of London

A New Take On Links Of London

This post is in collaboration with Links of London. I was such a huge fan when the first Links of London bracelet came out. It took the jewellery world by storm and I had a charm for everything, my kids names, a pink heart for love, even a starfish which seemed to be the symbol for my life at the time. Even my two little girls have baby Sweetie bracelets with their initials on. Now I’m super excited to be able to share their latest release and what I think of as a new take on Links Of London.

It used to be that you could only get the original sized Links of London Sweetie Silver Charm Bracelet and charms to match. Links of London has evolved leaps and bounds since then. The latest collection brings a fresh new take on all things Sweetie!

I chose my favorite bracelet, the Sweetie XS Silver Mini Charm Bracelet to share with you all. One of the new additions to the classic brand, I love the fact that it’s a really dainty bracelet. It almost looks seamless and as I have quite small wrists anyway, I think it suits me better. Of course the original sized charms would be a bit too chunky for this new size bracelet. Luckily Links of London have had their master designers working away in their workshop like busy little bees. They have come up with a whole new, fantastic range of mini charms to match.

The thing I love best about a Links of London charm bracelet is that you can personalise it. You have the opportunity to really make it you own and make your bracelet individual to you. You can add charms that represent your life and your achievements. Each bracelet holds a little bit of your personality. It’s a way to express your passions and always carry things you hold dear to your heart, with you. As life goes on you can add new charms that hold meaning to where you are in your life at that moment. As the bracelets are made of precious metals, they will keep their shine and won’t discolour, as long as you give them a good clean now and again. A bracelet can literally last a lifetime.

I added a simple but stunning Yellow Gold and Diamond Pave Mini Heart Charm to my bracelet. I love to mix and match metals. It’s great that I can wear a silver bracelet with a gold charm. The diamonds give a gorgeous sparkle to the charm and add that subtle bit of bling too.

So out of all the charms available, I bet you’re wondering why I went for a simple heart charm?

Well, I picked the heart because I feel like I’m at that stage in my life where I have a lot of family who mean the world to me. I’m settled and finally feel that I am happy with what I want from life. I want to give love and be loved. I’m all about empowerment and spreading positivity to those who may not feel their worth. I try to be honest always and as caring as possible too. I guess you could now say, that I literally do wear my heart on my sleeve.
