I was super fortunate last week as I was treated to a bunch of breakfasts and lunches. I met some really amazing people and obviously did lots of ‘work’ 😉
One of the highlights of my week was meeting up with the team from Farfetch. I absolutely love this brand and you can literally live out your designer dreams by looking round their website and fantasising about everything you want for christmas. Luckily for me I have a birthday coming up at the end of July so I’m dropping huge hints over here!
We had the most delicious breakfast at the Boundary Rooftop Restaurant in Shorditch. I hadn’t been there before and as it was on off rain practically all of last week, I was a bit nervous that it might turn out to be a chilly breakfast. Luckily the rooftop has and area that is completely covered by a glass conservatory over looking London Town. Such a beautiful sight, literally wishing this was my apartment view!
The Boundary Restaurant is a really quaint but very trendy place. The choice on the menu is quite small but all the food looked absolutely delicious. I ordered a hot chocolate and went for the pastries, a croissant with jam and a huge slice of poppy seed lemon cake. I also saw smoked salmon and scrambled eggs floating around along with the cutest glass teapots I have ever seen. Definitely on my list of places to visit again.
There was a select bunch of bloggers at the Farfetch breakfast and it was such a nice atmosphere. Always great to meet bloggers and exchange tips and tricks. I really love to make new blogger friends and make new contacts…it never hurts to get chatting to the person sitting next to you. They could literally be anyone!
It was so great to hear more about Farfetch and to learn about what plans they have coming up. It all sounds really exciting as it looks like there may be plans for a physical store which would be so amazing! I’ll be sure to make sure that it’s on my list to visit once it’s up and running :-). They have also just bought out Browns Fashion so huge things ahead!
I’m really looking froward to working with Farfetch sometime soon I hope so keep an eye out for any collaborations.
I found a ton of photo ops on this trip and if you’ve never been to Shorditch you should definitely take a trip. Its such a hub of artistic talent. There are some really unique places to eat and a lot of unique restaurants and one off boutiques which are worth checking out especially if you’re looking for that something different.
If you haven’t checked out Farfetch yet, head on over for a quick peek!
