Empowering Women Through Beauty

With a busy schedule and barely enough time to sleep, eat or even breathe sometimes, finding a moment to head off to a salon (other than for work) is nearly impossible! For some reason I can never make it to get my nails done or hair cut when I actually need it. There are many occasions like right now when I have had to just hope and pray that no one notices my man like hairy legs even though I am wearing the cutest summer dress….cringe. Sorry but there is just not enough time in the day yet alone enough really good therapists in the world, that won’t leave me with hairy patches on the back of my legs where they think I won’t notice them…..grrrr

That trusty mobile beautician is also a rarity and normally really hard to get an appointment with. Not to worry though lovelies, all your time saving beauty needs are about to come true 🙂

If you haven’t heard of the new mobile app Missbeez it is worth checking out. If you are one of those women who likes to maintain, then Missbeez has got you covered and all from the comfort of your own home (or office or wherever you like really!)

The app was started to deliver beauty treatments to women who just don’t have as much time as they would like. If you’ve got small kids and no childcare it’s perfect as you can as you can place an order at any time of the say to suit you, even on a Sunday, as long as there is a therapist available of course! As the treatments are being done in your own home, your kids are not going to have all the staff in the salon looking at you like you’re the worst parent ever because your child is throwing a tantrum or completely destroying the new window display.

Having my gel mani pedi done last week I learnt that the team behind Missbeez are all about girl power. Not only do they try to cater to the needs of real women, but Missbeez also give total flexibility with regards to scheduling and offers the beauty professionals a platform to build their own success through self-employment. So much so that the Chanell, who did my nails has already quit her day job and is now solely working with Missbeez after just one month….unbelievable! Missbeez promote and enable financial independence for women and that is never a bad thing.

The app started in Israel and is growing so rapidly that it’s pretty much set to take over the world soon, well Europe anyway. Missbeez’s next market launches are planned for Barcelona in March 2017, followed by Madrid and Milan later that year. It has a really fun design and is so easy to use that even the biggest technophobes can get the hang of this one!

I love the way the gels turned out, Chanell, who painted them was super talented. I’ve had endless comments on how lovely the colour is since then! There were sooooo many to choose from but in the end I went for ‘Dark Orchid’ by a brand called Madam Glam. It’s a really gorgeous shade of purple/blue and is a nice soft summery colour.

All the therapists that work with the Missbeez app are fully qualified and go through a standards trial with the company to make sure that only the best therapists are being sent out to you, which completely saves the hassle of a bad treatment!

I’m pretty sure that the Missbeez app will soon become the most used app on my phone. I’m always a last minute booker so it’s perfect for me. Might even find the time to get these legs waxed more often!

Treatments currently available in specific locations in zones one, two and three, include nails, hair removal, lashes, make-up, spray tan and hair treatments, with more to follow very soon! Download the app to make your request. Even if the app’s not currently servicing your area, they are expanding! Also…anyone making their first order will get £20 off!
