I was in Covent Garden towards the end of last week for a really exciting meeting with La Redoute. Spoiler alert, I have been asked to be a brand ambassador for the brand and am super excited! Part of my role will include a trip over to Paris next month to watch a highly top secret fashion show where the brands new collaboration will be revealed! La Redoute is a brand that I really love and has some great pieces on offer so I just can’t wait to start and also to see what’s in store for the new seasons collections!
I was treated to a gorgeous lunch at Laduree, keeping the Parisian theme going! Obviously everyone loves macaroons but I hadn’t been to the cute restaurant in Covent Garden before and didn’t realise you could even eat in there. Yes, they do serve more than just macaroons! I went for the healthy option and chose the fruit salad which was so yummy.
My partners in crime ordered the thickest hot chocolate I have ever seen and some lovely pastries, can’t wait to go back and chose that instead! lol
The sun was shining for probably the first time this spring and so I took a little walk around the market and cobbled streets of Covent Garden. I love it there and always find that even the big brand shops are very “Boutiquey”.
Love all the make up stores as well, even Urban Decay and Benefit have their own shop here!
I popped in to Accessorise and bought a really cute pastel clutch with a copper coloured chain and a new ring. I’m really in to statement rings at the moment, my only regret is that I didn’t buy another one I had seen in there too. I also picked up a couple of glittery snap bands for the girls and had them wrapped in the pretty wrapping paper Accessorise use so that it was more like a present. They were really chuffed! Best mum ever! lol
Anyway, I can’t wait for my next day out as I’m getting to wear some really cool stuff now that i’m not so worried about freezing to death. Can’t wait to get my hands on some La Redoute pieces and now I just need to get sorted for my trip to Saint Lucia in a couple of weeks!
