This was my first Judy Wu show and I was honoured to be given front row seats!
The show was held at the Freemasons hall and was sponsored by Fashion Scout, the Mayor of London and The Body Shop.
Press & I on the front row at Judy Wu
There were nail bars, make up and skin care stations along with a designer showroom on the way in featuring various up and coming designers. There were some great pieces and hats of to Fashion Scout for giving a platform to smaller designers trying to break through! All front row guests were also treated to a fabulous goody bag containing Label M haircare and The Body Shop products.
Judy Wu’s AW16 collection was a mix of vibrant orange, khaki green and black along with various prints. Mainly long flowing dresses but there was also some statement back detailing which I really liked.
Hair and makeup was on point on this runway and dark overstated smokey eyes were the focus. I loved the way the hair was multi textured and just big in general! Platform heels and over knee boots were a big feature in this show.
This was my favourite piece from this collection. I love the way the patent shoulders and stick out capped sleeves sit.
Judy Wu was definitely one of my favourite small designers for London Fashion Week AW16. Looking forward to seeing some of these looks out towards the end of the year, fingers crossed that I get an invitation! Such a fun day out.
