La Redoute x Carven

La Redoute x Carven

Last week I was one of the lucky few who were invited to the La Redoute press day to view their new collections including the highly anticipated La Redoute x Carven collection.
I headed on down to London for the day and this was my first stop. Held in the beautiful, very central London, St Martins Lane hotel, this was such a special event.
I was immediately greeted by a waitress offering drinks and then by at least 5 of the press team. Made me feel very special indeed!

Whilst being shown round the showroom I was offered a selection of delicious canapés and was then treated to a well needed manicure by top celeb nail technicians Lucy Tucker & Robbie Tomkins. Prob the best paint job i’ve ever had, no lie!

We all know La Redoute as a catalogue brand but they are also available online.
I am really excited after seeing these collections first hand as my perception of the brand has now changed completely. Their clothes are very Parisian and really great quality. I found that the prices are actually very competitive and now that Carven has given their input, this range has all the aires of the great fashion house!

The pink skirt pictured here is made from a scuba material and looked lovely, very 70’s esc. These khaki shorts were very representative of the Carven collection as a whole, great quality and beautifully tailored designs.

Alongside the Carven collaboration, La Redoute also showcased their other new collections from Soft Grey, Laura Clement and Madmoiselle R.
Soft Grey is more for the millennial generation where as Mademoiselle R and Carven is for the 25-35 ish. Laura Clement is aimed more towards the older shopper with a slightly higher price tag.
All the collections contain some really lovely pieces!

These boots were my absolute fav of the day! They are a suede kind of material and so hot for all year round, can’t wait to get them!
There were some gorge jackets too, like this Soft Grey yellow rain mac. I also spotted this cute yellow bomber from Mademoiselle R and also a great bottle green double breasted leather jacket which will be fantastic for when we are out of the minus degrees! lol

I found some cute little accessories like this pastel satchel shoulder bag and a gorgeous one piece floral swimsuit that I completely forgot to take a pic of 🙁 never mind, i’l have to try and get hold of it to show you guys!

I received this lovely gift bag to take home containing this absolutely beautiful bouquet of flowers and a box of LaDUREE macaroons that tasted soooooo good! I’m sure one of them had a violet filling! Yum!

So what do you think of the La Redoute x Carven collection?
