Rose gold is still huge at the moment and is not even remotely showing any signs of fading away in to last seasons jewellery box just yet. From jewellery to home accessories I have to say that rose gold is by far my favourite right now and has been for a least a couple of years.
My main peeve about jewellery though, is that when you want to spend a bit of money for a nice piece, the designs are just not as fashionable as you might think. It’s actually one of the reasons that I buy a lot of costume jewellery because it’s much easier to find in designs that fit with your outfit i.e. in the right colour or style.
Monica Vinader is a really on trend jewellery designer that I have fallen in love with recently. The brand is well established but I have only just really discovered the full range. You will find a ton of celebs wearing Monica Vinader as the pieces are made from precious metals and feature some beautifully set diamonds. The brand is really getting about right now and soon it will be all you hear about when it comes to the world of jewellery.
Looking through the latest collections over on their website I did drool a little, not going to lie. It’s super hard to decide on which is my favourite or to even make a shortlist, but I went ahead anyway and ordered some of my top picks from the Riva and Signature collections. Lets just say I’m not disappointed 🙂
The Diamond Wave Ring is by far my favourite piece and I’m a little obsessed with it at the moment. I’m really in to stacker rings and large statement rings so this fits perfectly with my current jewellery choices. I absolutely love the back of this ring, it’s a really unique design which is a huge selling point for this brand as they are just so good at it. Rose gold pretty much goes with anything too and is a real autumn colour. It’s great for right now as the colder months are nearly upon us. Don’t worry, it’s ok, at least the coming cold means that christmas is one season closer. Who can complain about that?
I love the fact that this brand offers so much diversity. They do the dainty pieces like earrings and bracelets really well and incorporate diamonds so simply. This is especially so within the Riva collection. If you are more or a bangle girl, then you probably won’t find anything with more chunk than the Signature Wide Bangle. Made in 18ct rose gold plated sterling silver. It rocks a really cool clasp too and is embossed with the trade mark M as are many of the pieces from Monica Vinader.
The rings are deifinitly my favourite pieces from this brand. Mostly big and bold but still keeping that elegance you need to not look tacky. You can pick up your very own piece of Monica Vinader jewellery from around £30. For one of the more stunning pieces from the range you are looking upwards of £300. At least with a piece like this it will last a life time and can be something you enjoy for years to come.
Time to put it on your christmas list I think, I know I will be!!
What are you in to right now, do you prefer silver, gold or rose gold?
