Sun Holiday Beauty Packing List

Sun Holiday Beauty Packing List

We all need our beauty essentials whether at home or away and as you all know by now if I haven’t tweeted enough about it..;-) I’m off to the Maldives v soon!

I’ve been super prepared and packed my bags in anticipation well in advance!
Take a look at my sun holiday packing list!

First things first, the toiletries bag! I’m taking my new Skinnydip bag because one, it’s really funky and two it’s clear, so I can see what’s inside without having to take it all out. Packing it once is enough for me thanks!
Next up and one of the most important things for me when I go on a sun holiday is haircare.
I have quite frizzy hair naturally so when you add chlorine and salt water, I end up looking like a crazy person after the first day!
I’m taking the Aussie shampoo and 3 minute miracle as this brand is literally built for sun, sea and chlorine exposed hair. Using the conditioner will give me the nice soft finish I love.
I’ve also packed this John Freida 10 day tamer, which is a treatment used in dry hair to repair damage. With these in my bag I should be able to manage my mane pretty well me thinks!

Another tip of mine is to always have mini ‘travel size’ versions of your favourite beauty products at home so that when travelling you can keep the weight and space down in your suitcase!
I’ve got most of my skincare routine in travel minis like this travel set from Benefit and I’m packing these Korres cleansing wipes so I don’t need to take make up remover too! They are also handy to take to the beach to freshen up and wipe away the salt water.
I love this Mary Kay SPF 30 moisturiser and recommend using this on a daily basis even if you are just at home in the freezing cold UK :-(( you will delay the signs of ageing dramatically if you do so from the age of 25!
Obviously sun care is the most vital beauty product to take on holiday and I always wear an SPF 30+. I’m taking this Sun Smart spray on lotion by M&S along with their lovely smelling aftersun with vitamin e and aloe vera which is a must when travelling to areas with extreme temperatures! Remember to take enough as you don’t want to have to fork out for resort priced sun tan lotion!

Finishing touches are super important on holiday as there are so many dining out opportunities! No one wants to be doing constant full face make up though so I pack basics like Kiehl’s BB cream, LOC shadow sticks, a Loreal sculpt contour palette, Benefit They’re Real mascara, NYC illuminator and Mac x Zac Posen matte lip colour and shadow palette.
I’ve also packed a nude nail polish by Ever Glaze for touch ups.
Not saying I use all of them everyday but they are handy to have just in case. It’s usually BB, mascara & lips for my lazy holiday makeup look.

I will upload the links shortly below!

Good haircare is a must for me, especially if I’m in a hot country, my hair gets so dry! X
